What is Dining with Professionals?
Dining with Professionals is an intimate experience where college students are able to sit down with professionals in their industry to eat and discuss their careers. Many students often struggle with recruiters at career fairs, forced to compete with many others and eventually blending with other students in the eyes of recruiters. Dining with Professionals aims to take away this universal issue by creating a stress-free environment, where students can take time to network with professionals and enjoy a good meal while they're at it. We welcome students of all majors, disciplines, and cultural backgrounds to attend the event, as everyone plays a role in shaping diversity.
Through this network, SASE UC San Diego hopes that affiliates will have an opportunity to achieve internships or jobs and also find information to any questions regarding career interests. In addition to advertisement of their company, professionals will encounter unique and talented individuals with high potential to be employees or interns for their companies.
